Apply for Funding

New application phase in January/February 2017!

Send in your school's application by February 2nd 2017.

We're here to help you. On this page you can find step-by-step instructions for applying for the funding of teacher training. If you have any questions, you can always get in touch with us: training@ingeniousknowledge.com.

In addition, we have created a video to help you complete your Erasmus+ KA1 application. You can find it on our Youtube-Channel Ingenious Teacher Training: "Help for completing the application form".

ERASMUS+ supports schools with staff training. Teachers can participate in European training courses and learn relevant skills. The funding will cover travel expenses, food and lodging, and the course fee.

1

Check with your National Agency

You will find your National Agency here: http://ec.europa.eu/education/tools/national_agencies_en.htm.

Your National Agency can provide you with information in your language. In most cases National Agencies will have helpful instructions for participating in ERASMUS+ on their website. You will also have to submit your application to your National Agency.

2

Obtain a PIC by registering on ECAS

All organisations that apply for ERASMUS+ funding need to obtain a Personal Identification Code (PIC) here: European Commission Authentication Service

If you need help with registering take a look at these video instructions: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1jkLGRAEaDo#t=57 or check for instructions on your National Agency's website.

3

Draft and submit your project application

Your National Agency will provide you with an application form. Don't let the form confuse you, it is used for several types of projects, and staff mobility is just one of them. You don't need to fill in the section for project partners. The application has to be filled out by the school, not by individual teachers. A school can apply for a number of teachers for 1 or 2 years. You don't need to specify the training dates yet.

Apply for the training course

Reserve your spot on the training course by going to the "courses" page. We will reserve a place for you free of charge, and you can confirm your participation on this website as soon as you get a positive reply from your National Agency. We will add more courses over the year, and if the course you want is already full you can contact us and we'll help you find alternatives or we'll even schedule a new course for you.
